Leave E2E_DEMO unset for a click storyboard (pointer + held ring). Set E2E_DEMO=1 for overlay, pacing, and walk.mp4. Assertions stay on.

Product-agnostic chrome

Personas are strings. Colors, layout selectors, and the first URL come from configureDemoWalk.

Overlay that survives navigation

Init scripts paint the banner and cursor on every document. Playwright serializes the functions — we never minify them.

Transcript + video

transcript.txt on every runDemoWalk. Optional per-persona webms stitched to walk.mp4 with ffmpeg. Iterate on stills first; record the video last.

Markdown for agents

Fetch /llms.txt or any page plus .md (for example /guide/stills.md). Do not scrape the HTML. Cloud Agents can inline stills and walk.mp4 in the thread. See For agents and Cursor.
